My venture into the art of metals

So these are some of the projects I made in my jewelery making class. It was a lot of fun the professor wasn't the best to busy talking instead of helping but I did get a good amount out of it I wish I got more because I really enjoyed it.

My favorite kind of lady.

I made a book once.

I made a book for my color drawing class. I sewn together 16 sheets of 18 x 24 drawing paper making 32 pages that was attached to thick paper board and canvas. I focused on color combination mostly and figure drawing. The models were mainly my friends but I ran out of time and had to take a few pics from the internets. I have since gotten better at figure drawing and I will show you soon.

Belt Buckle

So he is a belt buckle I made it is made up of copper and bronze. First metal piece I created. Now that I know the techniques I could make a better one and perhaps I will if I have time. The teeth moved when I was melting the braising rods due to my shaky hands they still look good but could of looked better.

Charity pigs!

So went to the New Britain artist co op the other night and painted a piggy bank for charity. I only got to do one, tricera-pig best seen in the forth pic. I believe April 30th they will be auctioned off to raise money for the youth theater.

My good mural

So this is my good mural, I didn't bother with Alewitz and I did what I wanted with out any of his input. I really like it I think its my best mural work. It is in the CCSU library its approximately 12' by 11'
